We are looking for a seasoned, highly motivated Senior Tax Accountant with strong business acumen and accounting skills to join our world-class team! This is a 'roll up your sleeves; hands-on position, requiring technical skill and business insight to join a focused team reporting to the Director of Finance and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
The ideal candidate possesses solid operational and technical accounting background and works proactively to drive
results. This person is a self-starter, positive, flexible, has a high level of integrity, and is action and goal-oriented on a fast-paced, growing, and collaborative team. You will be empowered and play a key role in helping the team with day-to-day tax operations functions such as Federal & State income tax compliance, Tax Provisions, R&D credit studies, local tax compliance, and other projects, as required, to support business partners and department needs. These projects may include M&A integration and tax structuring, tax planning, due diligence & related activities, finance and accounting process improvement projects, financial system development and implementation, financial reporting, and oversight of all company tax compliance initiatives. We are seeking a self-motivated, quick learner, and results-oriented team player with strong organizational and project management skills.
Who You Are:
- You have a thorough understanding of taxation for Consolidations, C-Corporations, and Passthrough entities.
- You have superior communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to structure a concise, clear presentation of findings. Must be experienced presenting and communicating insights (not just data) in a non-technical format for multiple levels of leadership.

What You Will Do:
- Identify, assess and implement process improvements in tax operations to optimize income tax accounting and compliance processes, and implement opportunities seeking cash tax and effective tax rate efficiencies.
- Drive relationships with stakeholders, including all top management, cross-functional teams, business units, and external parties (statutory auditors and external tax advisors).
- Support SALT, Federal, and International tax strategy and compliance function end-to-end.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings, including sales tax, and use remittances either through external vendors/partners or filing directly.
- Develop and implement comprehensive tax solutions to support business objectives and operations.
- Manage the tax provisioning process.
- Monitor nexus and determine taxability for each transaction or line of business in compliance of each jurisdiction.
- Coordinate with finance to monitor business forecasts and evaluate related implications to legal entity results to analyze and maintain effective tax rate and cash taxes forecasts, including related sensitivity analysis.
- Manage outside professional tax advisor relationships and ensure proper local tax compliance and implementation of tax planning initiatives.
- Manage the Research and Development tax credit filings and document technical tax positions.
- Own a variety of ancillary tax processes (e.g., business property taxes, local business tax filings, franchise calculations, etc.
- Tax research and documentation of tax accounting and other tax technical matters.
- Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws.
- Assist the Company with a wide variety of tax planning projects across all of the lines of business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Corporate Income Tax Experience in Public Accounting and/or Private Industry with meaningful income tax accounting (ASC 740) experience and proven track record in business tax compliance.
- Have a Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting or a related field; Masters in Taxation preferred.
- CPA license required.
- Have demonstrated the ability to build relationships and communicate with team members and executive management.
- Have strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax colleagues.
- Professional understanding of the best accounting strategies and advanced mathematical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and accelerated deadlines in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment with a highly motivated team.
