We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a growing team of professionals shaping the future of HR at PLAYSTUDIOS. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will drive and deliver best practices in talent attraction and build meaningful relationships with stakeholders across the business to innovate our talent acquisition strategy while delivering an exceptional candidate experience from beginning to end. Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of urgency, provides amazing customer service to all levels of hiring managers and can successfully manage, prioritize and fill both technical and non-technical roles.
This role provides the right candidate with an opportunity to take on substantial ownership within PLAYSTUDIOS’ Talent Acquisition and HR functions.
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the Director of Human Resources.
What you’ll be doing
- Proactively contribute to improving talent acquisition efforts by implementing meaningful ways to evolve our hiring strategy, interview training programs, hiring and selection materials, and candidate experience.
- Manage and drive all phases of the recruitment process including opening requisitions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating offers and closing candidates.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, attract and engage the best active and passive talent to build a robust and diverse pipeline of candidates.
- Lead and facilitate meetings with hiring managers to provide activity updates and collaborate on internal changes and recruitment strategies.
- Forge relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and the hiring community to deeply understand current/future hiring needs and develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
- Develop appropriate marketing strategies, define roles and responsibilities of hiring team, and develop service-level agreements to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hire.
- Lead internal and external employer branding efforts to promote our company culture and employee experience.
- Use market expertise, data, business acumen, and intuition to understand the competitive landscape to adapt to changing market trends, educate and influence the business, and ensure that our compensation and benefits offerings remain competitive.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start.
- Accountable for tracking all recruitment activity in applicant tracking system for accurate reporting of metrics.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, and company policies.
- Assist with the immigration process and administration as a liaison with immigration attorneys.
- May work with agencies, recruiting contractors and/or internet website representatives when conducting employment advertising campaigns.
What you need for consideration
- 10+ years full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a highly competitive environment, preferably in Austin and the San Francisco Bay Area, and with consumer facing products
- 5+ years of experience as a dedicated, in-house recruiter.
- Willingness and ability to shift from big picture strategy to tactical support and execution
- Track record in sourcing qualified candidates using a variety of resources (including LinkedIn), lead development, negotiating offers, and influencing management decision-making
- Proven ability to recruit and hire a variety of technical roles (e.g. software developer, product manager, designers, tech artists, etc.) and non-technical roles (finance, partnership and rewards, artist, etc.)
- Demonstrable experience in working with creative and technical leadership at varying levels end to end through the recruiting process
- Strong ability to assess a candidate's experience and connect that candidate with the right opportunity
- Systems thinker with experience implementing and scaling recruiting processes
- Natural closer who can independently extend offers to senior level candidates
- Polished communicator with strong organizational, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
- Independent problem-solver who can adapt to changing priorities and hiring targets
What sets you apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in the recruiting function of a mobile game company
- Experience training managers to develop and hone recruiting and interviewing skills
- Incredible proofreading skills and low tolerance for grammatical errors
- Experience creating organizational recruiting workflows
- Experience developing interview guides and training managers to use them
- Multilayered experience using Jobvite Hire
- Experience with Paylocity Onboarding
