Crystal Dynamics is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer! In this role you will design, build and implement features, systems, and tools that empower content creators in all disciplines to realize the maximum potential of their creations and contributions to the game. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and improve upon content creation pipelines aimed at high-quality rapid iteration
- Develop efficient, straightforward, and robust in-engine implementations that enable new features without negatively impacting existing features
- Design and implement reliable, maintainable, and bug-free code
- Ensure performant feature implementation with relation to memory usage, GPU usage, and CPU usage, networking, etc.
- Maintain strong interdisciplinary relationships between engineering and content creation
- Communicate, support, and collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team that is varied in technical understanding; at times in a fast-paced iterative environment
- Analyze and positively impact our build processes, compiler toolchains, and content pipelines for large games
- Utilize your keen sense of awareness and time-management skills to enable you to produce high quality work that is maintainable and bug-free code by working closely with QA and Technical Leadership
Essential Requirements
- 5+ years of games industry experience
- 3+ years of professional C++ programming experience
- General knowledge of Physics, 3D Graphics & Rendering, VFX, Network Programming, or Tools programming for games
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging and optimization skills
- Solid 3D mathematics skills
- Industry awareness in gaming, including the ability to analyze competitive titles
Bonus Skills and Experience
- Experience with content streaming systems
- Console development experience
- Shipped one or more AAA titles using Unreal engine
