Our first franchise, the Emmy Award-winning The Dragon Prince , began as an original animated series on Netflix in 2018. All three seasons have been a Top 10 digital original and are rated 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. The series was recently picked up for four additional seasons. A world-class video game for The Dragon Prince is under development by the same creative team.

We're looking for a world-class Senior Systems Designer who will drive the design of the game's long-term progression and rewards systems to provide compelling experiences to players for years.
What you will do...
- Design, document, and pitch player progression, rewards, and social systems to the game director and lead designers
- Drive implementation and iteration of your systems with engineering, art, and UX/UI teams
- Collaborate with content designers to implement player rewards and distribute them across all of Xadia
- Incorporate social systems that support and reward long-term progression and engagement
- Maintain player progression and rewards balance for the game's live service to increase player enjoyment
- Manage rewards data in our proprietary data language
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a systems designer
- Shipped a game in a role where you owned at least one core progression/rewards system
- Experience maintaining and balancing progression/rewards systems during live service
- Deep knowledge of systems used in a variety of similar games
- Ability to effectively communicate your ideas, and both provide and implement constructive feedback
- Bonus XP: Unreal Engine 4
- Bonus XP: Text-based scripting language
