This job might no longer be available.Senior Supervisor, Reliability Engineering LabMagic LeapPlantation, FL, United States1 year agoApplySaveJob DescriptionThis Lab supervisor position is the main interface for the reliability lab with external organizations and reliability engineers and requires a person who is both technically skilled with implementation and execution of system and module level reliability tests, able to organize and manage technician resources for test execution in a fast paced environment, is an effective communicator and problem solver, and is able to consistently deliver accurate and timely results.Responsibilities:Organizing and coordinating lab resources to complete product testing according to project timelinesEnsuring lab equipment is maintained and can support testing activitiesExecuting detailed test procedures, preparing and documenting test results, as well as review of results and collaborating with Reliability Engineers.Use various types of measurement equipment to test systems and modules.Configuration and running of complex test setups using high accuracy test equipment.Partnering closely with reliability engineers to support test development work.Handling and providing sample materials with cross-functional team members.Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years of reliability testing experience or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years directly managing employees, with preference to technicians in lab environmentDirect experience in performing reliability testing in high tech, fast-paced product development environment. Consumer electronics testing experience is required.Experience in procurement, installment, calibration, and maintenance of reliability lab equipment is a plus.Ability to write reports, and test procedures.Dynamic and “can do” attitude individual with the desire to work with a great team and product. Ability to manage & complete multiple tasks simultaneously.Must possess a high level of attention to detail with handling of samples and test data.High degree of comfort in a lab setting, bringing a proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and drive results.Experience with data analysis and s/w tools is preferred.Education:AS Degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to Equal Employment Opportunities guidelines.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.
