Your Mission
The HR Strategic Projects team is a Center of Excellence supporting Activision Blizzard globally. We deliver priority strategic HR initiatives within the Global HR Function and in support of our business units. The projects we work on reduce complexity across operating units, deliver new business capabilities, and fundamentally improve employee experience. Current projects include acquisition integrations, Organization redesign and Process Improvement.
This role will lead Change management activity across all projects, either directly involved in delivery or advising on smaller initiatives. This person will support the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, readiness activities, communications, and partner on training.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of a common language and scalable solutions supporting organizational change across all prioritized strategic HR projects
- Build and be responsible for the change plan for each change initiative implementation
- Partner with our studio and corporate recruiting leaders to assess requirements and implement sourcing plans to meet hiring needs of various business units
- Provide thought leadership and advice on organizational change strategies
- Assess organizational impact and organizational readiness for each change initiative on a global, regional and/or country level
- Evaluate change impact and ensure changes communicated, detailed accurately in training materials, and in our HR knowledge base
- Perform change risk analysis, mitigation planning and result execution
- Participate in writing the project plan, documents, and progress reports
- Collaborate across global, regional, and country teams to drive adoption and ownership of balanced organizational change strategies
- Help ensure alignment between any new processes or tasks, and org structure and roles
- Help projects engage employees and managers in the design of the change and ensure all understand their new roles post implementation.
- Contribute to change communications, training and knowledge transfer plans and activities using a pragmatic and creative approach for high impact results
- Step into Project Management, Organization Effectiveness and any additional roles as required by the project slate
Player Profile
- 5 years validated experience in Organizational Change
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience of Organizational Change in Human Resources or related fields within HR
- Shown results implementing changes for a variety of global teams
- Experience in training employees in new processes
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels in the organization
- A high degree of adaptability to navigate the organization across sophisticated and diverse situations
- Comfort with ambiguity; strong decision-making skills and ability to provide well-informed solutions
- Great teammate with a roll-up-one’s-sleeves attitude, and highly developed sense of proactivity
- Coursework/Training/Experience in Project Management, Agile Methodologies
