Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Design, develop, write, review and maintain test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures aimed at locating problems with software and systems. Design and develop software for testing, analyzing outcome under various scenarios, ensuring usability, regression testing, negative testing, and error or bug retests. Automate existing test cases. Identify and report software defects. Track software defects by creating and maintaining a database of known defects. Collaborate with software developers to create test plans and address problems. Enhance software and develop workarounds. Follow-up on error resolution efforts and track outcomes. Ensure software documentation is accurate and complete.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering plus five years of progressive experience as a software quality assurance test engineer.
