Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA to architect, design, and develop our mission critical content delivery platform. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering Design, Computer Science or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience architecting, building, deploying and supporting real-time distributed systems to deliver personalized content across the company network. Prior experience must include three (3) years of handling day-to-day activities of engineering team using Agile/Scrum methodology; owning the development process and working with product requirements to go-to-market strategy; identifying performance bottlenecks and building solutions to rectify these, and developing highly scalable distributed systems; conducting technical deep dives into code, cloud networking, deployments, and architecture, and working closely with company products; and in executing duties, working with Java, Java Virtual Machine, Kubernetes, Unix, TCP/IP, Object Oriented Programming, Test Driven Development, multi-thread programming, Apache projects, and Amazon Web Services.
