Senior Software Engineer, Unity Editor, Game Operations

Unity is looking for an engineer with experience in Unity, to be a member of an innovative product team that will define a new standard for live operations in the games industry. We have the chance to create an impact on developers' lives, building SDKs that are being used in thousands of games to provide insightful data for our analytics platform and to provide groundbreaking player engagement mechanisms, so that developers can spend less time dealing with the mechanics of operating a live game and more time making their vision become a reality!

We are a highly engaged team, collaborating with product and engineering from teams building backend services to ship SDKs so our customers get the most value out of our suite of services. The opportunity

Join the SDK team in the Game Operations organisation building packages and SDKs that become the primary way Unity developers will interact with our backend services:

• Our team is looking for a strong Unity developer with experience building tools in Unity
• Work with various teams across the organisation to design, document, implement and test Unity packages that bring the platform to life
• As a key contributor you will work with other dedicated and passionate team members to achieve exponential success in a large growth market
• Build your skills in an open, collaborative workplace where great ideas win and team members strive to build products that inspire creators to bring their vision to the world!

What you’ll be doing

• Design, build, and test multiplatform SDKs primarily written in C#, using Unity
• Work with customer support, product, design, and customers themselves to align on the right problems to solve for our developers
• Play a meaningful role in mentoring other team members, being the voice of the customer, and help drive architectural decisions for our SDKs

• Advanced C# skills
• Passion to learn and grow
• Performance-minded development and cross platform development experience

• Experience using Unity
• Prior experience with game development
• Methodical and investigative disposition
