We are seeking a Senior UI Features Engineer to work closely with our UI designers, system designers, server engineers, and game engineers to develop and expose game and platform feature experiences through clean, intuitive, and beautiful UI. You'll also work with the engine team to streamline the development workflow to ensure the team delivers polished features effectively.

Location flexible:
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY or Irvine, CA.
We need help with
- Collaborating with designers, artists, and other engineers to design, prototype, and implement polished user interface experiences.
- Contributing to the design of the UI features and systems both aesthetically, and systemically.
- Integrating and exposing the social and online services provided by multiple platforms including Battle.net.
- Coordinating with embedded and external teams, creating relationships and assisting with shared initiatives that advance the development of the game.
- Mentoring other engineers on the features team.
- Championing Blizzard’s core values.
What you are good at
- Developing client architectures and UI features
- Advanced C++ programming and debugging skills
- Deep understanding of common user interfaces concepts like widgets, layout, text, event-driven programming, navigation, and accessibility.
- Being self-motivated and self-directing, willing to pitch in on various areas of development
- Thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Documenting and testing APIs
Extra awesome points for
- Experience working with multiple platforms (PC, Console, Mobile)
- Knowledge of ECS programming.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $101,000.00 - $186,754.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
