Senior Software Engineer, Sustained Engineering

The opportunity

We are a collaborative team focused primarily on the efficient processing of bugs coming from some of Unity’s biggest customers. Through a combination of tooling, processes and data analytics, we have catalysed a measurable, profound improvement in the service Unity delivers.

Underpinning all of this is the development of the tools which allow us, and others, to function at our collective best. In this role, you will take these tools to the next level. There are many enhancements and extensions that can be made, encompassing the raw code itself, plus the range of functionality on offer.

The team values teaching, learning and dissemination; we have significant expertise in C++, graphics, SQL and more besides! It will be our pleasure to share this with you and, in turn, to learn from you.

What you’ll be doing

• Javascript, Typescript, SQL
• Introducing new tooling, guided by your expertise
• Mentoring early-career team members

What we’re looking for

• A high degree of proficiency in any programming language
• A flair for communicating technical ideas
• An understanding of the value of testing
