Senior Software Engineer - Server - Unannounced Project

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join a new team working on an unannounced mobile game. As a key member of our server team, you will partner with Blizzard IT to ensure the overall health, stability, and scalability of our Cloud-hosted services. This is new development in a rapidly evolving field. You must be self-driven, adaptable to changing needs, and relentless in the pursuit of stability at scale.

Requirements

- 5 years C# programming skills, or a similar language

- 5 years of development work with backend services

- Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platform

- Experience supporting a live product at scale

- Strong familiarity with Cloud and Container concepts

- Enthusiasm and a passion for mobile gaming

Pluses

- Prior experience in the games industry

- Experience with Helm, Terraform, or other similar technologies

- Experience with a major public cloud provider (GCP, AWS)

- Knowledge of network and server security issues
