Primary Functions
As a Senior Software Engineer, SDK, you’ll spearhead our efforts to build SDKs for our REST based services and play a pivotal role in pioneering the financial rails that underpin real economies and power video game and metaverse worlds. You will be a leader and innovator, guiding the team on technical design, leveraging best practices and helping to solve some of the most challenging technical problems on the team.
Our SDKs will be open source and you’ll have the opportunity to develop and release SDKs, develop code and tools for other developers, assist developers in working through integration challenges, write documentation, and apply your keen design eye. This role will be as much a technical evangelist and open source coordinator as it will be a developer, supporting Unity and other game and mobile platforms, and frameworks such as iOS/Swift, Android, and Flutter.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect client SDKs for various platforms with open-source OpenAPI tools for REST-based APIs.
- Maintain the SDKs github repositories to merge pull requests from customers or other.
- Keep our SDKs up-to-date with the latest Android and iOS changes as underlying APIs change.
- Diagnose reported issues to support our customers’ use of the SDKs.
- Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams to design and scope out upcoming features and provide clear updates on project progress.
- Elevate developer experience by improving API documentation & writing samples for typical use cases.
- Leverage experience in process automation and optimization for scalability.
- Write elegant, maintainable, reusable code, using test driven principles to develop high quality applications.
- Invest in the growth and development of the team through active mentorship, support and knowledge sharing.

- Robust technical skills that support updating SDKs in multiple languages and tool chains.
- Strong open source background with the know-how to establish and support open source projects.
- Adept at effectively communicating complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to write clear documentation of the interfaces you build and/or maintain.
- Passion and aptitude for independent learning.
- Commitment to team mentorship and knowledge sharing.
- Demonstrated ability to work synchronously and asynchronously in a remote environment.
- Proven artistic design sense for content, application and user interface is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic training and experience.
Experience
- 7 - 10 years of experience working in Unity Development technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with iOS or Android applications.
- Experience with designing client side language SDKs with interest in learning multiple languages (Python, Java, Go)
- Experience with writing high-quality, well-architected and well-documented code.
