Mid/Senior Software Engineer (R&D / Machine Learning)

Job Overview
You'll bring your experience as an experienced software engineer to a team focused on a machine learning research project within the video game space. You'll be combining your professional experience and an intrinsic desire for problem solving, with your passion of video games in order to explore a new frontier within the realm of video games, with the aim to turn the research into a user facing product.

Software Team Lead
What will you do?
Together, with your teammates:
- Design and implement ML pipeline and integration in our games
- Implement and evaluate different ML techniques
- Implement and maintain automation and scaled infrastructure
- Collaborate and communicate with other teams and stakeholders
What are we looking for?
- You have a demonstrable background in Software Engineering with commercial experience in C++ and Python
- Experience using machine learning techniques and tools, especially reinforcement learning
- Strong problem solving ability
- Experience working with existing large code bases
- Adaptability to work on different parts of the system from ML to game engine to DevOps
- Ability to autonomously solve problems and ensure timely completion of assigned work
- Strong code and system design skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to collaborate with other developers within and across teams and studios (a great team player)
- A passion for video games!
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in the game development industry
- Experience in game engine development especially rendering
- Experience with other scripting languages
- Commercial experience in a machine learning / data science project
- Experience using Agile methodologies
