Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Payments in San Mateo, CA to establish a linear scale, highly available, fault-tolerant, globally distributed commerce service platform. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience designing highly scalable software application systems and implementing tests for application quality, performance and scalability. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience designing, developing and modifying software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequences of design; utilizing lightweight SOA design patterns; contributing to the development process pipeline by leveraging best-in-class CI/CD tools; in executing duties, utilizing software frameworks and tools, including Kubernetes, kafka, SpringBoot, REST API, Docker, Artifactory, OAuth 2.0, Kibana, Graphana, Elasticsearch, logstash, openstack, Datadog, Splunk, Drone CI/CD, Jenkins, Jira, and machine learning; utilizing databases, including Oracle Database, Postgres Mysql, Flyway DB, MongoDB; and utilizing programming languages, including Java, Python, C++, GoLang and React JS.
