Senior Software Engineer - Global Marketing, Influencer Marketing

As Senior Software Engineer on Influencer Marketing Tech , you’ll create products that level up Riot's commitment to its content creators. As part of the Influencer Marketing Tech team, you'll help build Riot's next big bet for content creators from an early stage idea into a working product. You will report to the engineering manager of the Influencer Marketing Tech team.

Responsibilities:

• Create web applications (React) and service integrations (Java) to create valuable tools for content creators and influencers
• Collaborate with technical leadership and peers to break down work and build important features.
• Maintain an appropriate level of quality by writing tests, using CI/CD, and following software development best practices.
• Mentor other engineers in your areas of expertise
• Participate in technical phone screens and onsite panels to help grow engineering team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable experience in software development
• 3+ years of industry experience
• Experience writing and operating web services in Java
• Strengths in collaboration and communication

Desired Qualifications

• Background in event driven designs and cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with MySQL and Kafka
• Working knowledge of JavaScript (ReactJS, TypeScript), HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with UX and visual designers
• Have developed a complex system from scratch
