At Strivr, our engineering teams develop immersive experience software and a cloud-based software platform that powers the creation, management, and experience of immersive learning with a unique level of insights and predictive analytics. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the independence, opportunity, and the end-to-end responsibility of building our next-generation VR content authoring platform. This platform will enable our internal and external users to fully assemble, manage, and distribute immersive content that they create.
Your responsibilities
- Architect efficient and reusable frontend and backend systems with consumer-grade usability and experiences
- Coding clean and efficient, collaborating with other developers, and troubleshooting issues end-to-end (full-stack)
- Incorporate security, performance, reliability, and monitoring into everything you build
- Collaborate with Product Management and Product Design to deliver compelling user-facing products with
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of work experience in developing web applications end-to-end (full-stack)
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, and a deep understanding of HTML/CSS including concepts like layout, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
- Experience with one of the major frontend frameworks like React, Redux, Angular, or Vue
- Experience in RESTful API design and development using Node.js, and SQL/NoSQL databases like Postgres, MongoDB
- Experience with automation frameworks and testing tools for web applications
- Working knowledge of browser APIs and optimizing frontend performance, and troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud technologies, such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure, including Kubernetes or Docker
- Experience building platforms for client applications running on Web, Desktop, and Mobile
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
Benefits
The annual compensation range for this position is $128,000 - $192,000. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
