We are seeking a candidate to join our Engineering Effectiveness organization, which provides the tools and processes that enable development teams within our Experience Technology Group to do their job: building incredible experiences for millions of PlayStation players!
Our team is responsible for the CI/CD infrastructure and pipelines across all of our frontend development teams on all platforms, on-console (PlayStation 4/5) and off-console (Web, Mobile, PC). We have a variety of roles available on our team, with the opportunity to work in different verticals at the intersection of platform technologies and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Empower development teams to achieve a high level of technical productivity, reliability, and simplicity
- Design, build, and maintain the core CI/CD pipeline and libraries used by all of our client development teams
- Drive cross-team and cross-org alignment around efficiency
- Initiate and guide deep technical design discussions within our team, and across partner teams, and ensure that we are building effective, high quality system
- Thrive in a high autonomy environment surrounded by unsolved problems
- Collaborate with team members from PlayStation offices around the world
Desired Qualifications:
- Computer Science or related field
- You have a strong understanding of software engineering methodologies and bring a well-adapted approach to testing and driving reductions in technical debt
- You have extensive experience with continuous integration tools, and understand what's required to build end-to-end CI/CD pipelines
- You are able to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
- You are capable to proactively align technical requirements with development teams to create system designs for build automation projects
- You have led, from start to finish, the development of services or tools built for Web, Mobile, or PC
- You have experience working with object-oriented languages (Java, JavaScript), common web frameworks and tooling
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt your communication style with people of different cultures.
Relevant Qualifications:
- You have experience in deploying, operating, and managing customer-facing services in AWS or other cloud platforms
- You have experience working with Content Delivery Networks

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$145,700 — $218,500 USD
