Senior Software Engineer, Build Reliability

You will coordinate across disciplines with designers, artists, producers, and other engineers to ensure that everyone feels like they can succeed at their part in making the next great game. Along with that, everyone on our team is empowered to influence the game direction, and the ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and player experience.

Responsibilities

• Build highly reliable build solutions that would be used by both Engineers and Content Creators alike.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvements in our systems to better serve the development team.
• Integrate with cross-company tools and APIs to ensure we can deliver our product to the world.
• Track statistics on usage and performance of our systems. This includes builds, tests, and deployment.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development. This includes development, testing, and deployment of all features. bug fixes, etc.
• Provide strong technical leadership, focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Understanding and experience utilizing C#.
• Experience with modern source control systems, such as Subversion, Git, or Perforce.
• Service-oriented attitude with an eye for efficiency.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Able to communicate and collaborate well with non-technical users, including artists and designers.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Pluses

• Advanced understanding of game content pipeline and tools.
• Strong experience with SQL databases -- database design, query design, and programming language bindings.
• Working knowledge of Application or Web Development.
• Experience working on a Mobile title.
• Experience in a live service content release pipeline.
