WorldWinner.com and the WorldWinner app. WorldWinner offers a wide and ever-changing variety of tournaments within multiple game titles for game enthusiasts of all skill levels.
What You’ll Do:
GSN Games is seeking a Senior Back-end Engineer to work on fun, challenging features for our skill gaming platform: WorldWinner! As a Senior Engineer, you'll be joining our team to help build exciting backend features for our games such as quest/goals systems, game achievements, tournament leaderboards, payment systems and more!
You Will:
- Manage your schedule and pace of work in an agile project management environment with QA, product, and other developers.
- Develop new back-end infrastructure and gaming features that will power our WorldWinner web and app experiences.
- Identify appropriate programming languages, technologies, or services to leverage when designing new features.
- Actively suggest and implement better solutions in the development process.
About You:
- 6+ years of total programming experience in any of the following languages: Java, Python/Django, Ruby/Ruby on Rails, JavaScript.
- At least 2 years or more working with AWS.
- Understanding of relational database principals, and the ability to write efficient SQL.
- Strong object-oriented design skills, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces.
- Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms).
- Ability to write high-performance production quality code.
- Experience and interest in working with other engineers and cross-functional partners in product and design to build a world-class online and offline products.
