Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to build a world-class mixed reality collaborative application platform for the Magic Leap platform. We have exciting plans for development of multiuser and single applications and experiences in our spatial computing environment. As a primary contributor to this work, the Sr Mixed Reality Software Engineer will have a rich technical background that shows depth and breadth of experience as well as a passion for developing content for the Magic Leap product. This is an opportunity to be one of the first developers in an exciting and developing market for the Magic Leap platform. Qualified candidates need to be a self-starter and able to operate in a highly dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work in Unity, and Unreal to develop content and applications for mixed reality. in an entirely new domain.
- Integrate new hardware and software technology and solutions and build mixed reality content utilizing that technology.
- Design and implement gameplay, input, and UI systems.
- Code in primarily in C++ and C#.
Qualifications:
- Experience in graphics and AR/VR development
- Experience with 3D development in Unity or UE4
- A strong preference for having shipped applications on an embedded product or having published applications on an app store.
- Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience with product coding process, including code management, testing, review.
- Very strong programming skills - extensive experience with C, C++ or C#
- Networking and multiplayer experience in Unity or UE4 is preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant word experience in Mixed Reality/AR/VR
