We are looking for an experienced anti-cheat engineer to develop and maintain systems to protect the integrity of New World. In this position you will develop systems to detect and prevent cheating and botting, reverse engineer existing exploits and cheats in order to develop ways to defeat them, and ensure that the play experience in New World is fair for all players.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Develop anti-cheat detection and prevention systems
· Work with gameplay engineers and designers to ensure game systems are developed with cheat prevention in mind
· Reverse engineer existing cheating applications and develop ways to defeat them
· Keep on top of the newest cheats and exploits, staying a step ahead in the constant arms race of anti-cheat
Full remote work will be considered for this position.

Basic Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
· 3+ years of programming experience with C++
· 4+ years of professional software development experience

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in development of anti-cheat technologies in multiplayer games
· Experience in reverse engineering cheating applications
· In depth knowledge of Windows OS process execution, and methods that attackers use to execute malicious code and inject data into process memory space
· Experience working on massively multiplayer games
