SUMMARY OF POSITION
Pixelberry Studios is looking for Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET).
Our headquarters are in Mountain View, CA but we can accommodate a remote work environment for a candidate from the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington.
Currently, all Pixelberry staff work remotely with the option to work in-office, if desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Production, Development, and other teammates to develop new automation technology
- Strong understanding test methodologies, test strategy, and test planning
- Experience using continuous-integration tools such as Gitlab runners
- Design, code, and maintain automation codebases
- Maintain a mentoring relationship with members of your team
- Follow and encourage standards around development, code review, testing, and deployment
REQUIREMENTS
- Computer Science degree, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of modern programming language (JavaScript, Python) experience
- 3+ assembling tests strategies and building test details for either desktop, mobile, or web applications
- Solid foundational programming skills (algorithms, data structures, OOP, POM, etc)
- Familiar with Selenium and Cypress
- Familiar with Test Case Management software, preferably TestRail
- A passion for games, and an understanding of how they work
- Experience in managing black, white, and gray box testing
- Experience in creating testing tools for improving test efficiency
- Good communication and collaboration skills
