The opportunity

Unity’s Creative Technology team seeks a software developer to help our customers use Unity’s next generation characters and environments tools. As part of our customer focused external engines production team, you’ll help integrate and curate a wide range of tools that are used to facilitate artist workflows. In this dynamic role, you’ll code custom pipelines that link together our existing tools with the customers proprietary engine, solve the problems that inevitably crop up, and address them to ensure that our team continues to work efficiently. Your work will enable our customers to push their 3D characters to state-of-the-art fidelity. You will be working with the Manager, Creative Technology, External Engines.

Our External Engines team partners with VFX and AAA game studios to assist them as they adopt Ziva’s muscle simulation and facial animation tools, SpeedTree environment assets, and Weta tools into their pipelines. We help guide them as they seek to produce top-quality creatures, characters and environments, all while improving the toolchains ourselves in order to enhance our customers’ success and improve Unity’s Professional Artistry products for everyone.
