Senior Software Developer, Code Quality, Sustained Engineering

The opportunity
Unity is looking for an experienced Software Developer to be part of our Sustained Engineering (SE) Code Quality Team. This team is responsible for ensuring our codebase adheres to the required quality standards. You are someone with a keen interest in software quality, and developing systems that examine and report code quality. In this role you will be making a key contribution by ensuring the reliability and compliance of all released versions of Unity!
SE is a mixture of skilled specialists, across a variety of focussed teams, with a holistic knowledge of our codebase and the engineering knowledge to assist with problems that span the entire product.
This is a full time position, based in our Brighton office.
What you’ll be doing
- Design and implement systems to ensure our software compliance with the Code Quality standards
- Work with the Legal and Release Management teams to certify that published versions of Unity meet the Code Quality requirements
- Collaborate with development teams across the entirety of Unity R&D to ensure the integration and adoption of the Code Quality systems in the Unity engine
What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience of enterprise systems and developing tooling for these systems
- Strong experience in commercial software development in C++ and C#
- Experience of software development in a distributed collaborative environment/part of a team working on large projects with large code bases
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) – Fluency in English
You might also have
- Knowledge of Synopsys’ products, primarily Black Duck and Coverity
- A past history of delivering innovative solutions to hard problems
- Ability to prioritise multiple concurrent tasks
