Senior Social Strategist (Fixed Term Contract)

This is a 6 month fixed term contract.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in social media marketing campaigns and content strategy preferably with working knowledge in gaming and/or entertainment to support campaigns and strategy projects alongside the Director of Community and Social Marketing.

Your Role Within Our Kingdom

You will be a part of a team with a mission to put our players at the heart of what we do. You will manage social media campaigns, working with internal stakeholders and external agencies as well as developing strategies to engage more players and retain existing players.

Responsibilities:

To have a strategic mind and join the dots between campaigns so that content on owned, earned and influencer channels fit together consistently

*

Build thorough and thoughtful strategies alongside the Director of Community and Social Marketing for new games releases and the Candy Crush Franchise

*

Use insights to develop creative solutions and validate thinking

*

Execute on agreed tactics from beginning to end making sure teams are looped in and gathering feedback where necessary

*

Experience working with digital influencers and the influencer landscape and culture

*

Understanding of social data and how to find insight to develop campaigns and creative

*

General understanding of marketing campaigns and strategy and where social, content and community fits within it

Skills to Create Thrills

Proven of experience working in social media marketing and or content strategy across gaming and/or entertainment brands or digital/social media agencies

*

Relevant experience of working across different departments with product, marketing, creative and PR

*

Strong understanding of the social media and content ecosystem, trends and formats

*

A strong culture of collaborating openly with team members

*

Strong editorial judgement and taking into account tone of voice, wider culture and social trends

*

Experience in content production and managing external agencies including briefing

*

High level of resilience with solution mindset in a fast- moving environment

*

Strong aptitude for identifying problems, troubleshooting issues and problem- solving

*

Excellent communication, presentation and deck building skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally across all levels, including external agencies

*

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, delivering in a fast- paced environment, whilst keeping a calm head

*

A growth mindset with a strong leadership attitude * A self- starter with an entrepreneurial mindset

Location

We are working form home at present, but once we return to the office this role will be located in our London office.
