Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in San Diego, CA to work with our service development teams to develop, automate and ensure the production readiness of all new services and features introduced to commerce and payments platform. Requires a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience providing hands-on application management and payment related services within an AWS cloud environment, while ensuring availability, resiliency, scalability and high performance. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience utilizing, integrating and automating the configuration and ongoing data operations of AWS managed services within company platforms; identifying areas for operational process improvement and automation and driving the hands-on development of scripts and tools to automate these processes using programming languages including Python; increasing observability by implementing robust monitoring and alerting patterns; conducting, documenting and presenting root cause analysis documents to share incident insights and findings with broader engineering organization; developing rich, informative dashboards and reports using monitoring tools including Datadog and CloudWatch; working with version control software such as GitHub, maintaining code quality, and testing and performing code reviews. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$138,200 — $207,200 USD
