Senior Server Software Developer @ Yakuto

THE POSITION
Yakuto is looking for an experienced Senior Server Software Developer to hire in our London (United Kingdom) Games Development Studio. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Duties
You will be part of a small team of dedicated programmers, developing, deploying and providing support for our mobile multiplayer Cloud technologies.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Building our platforms, systems and networking infrastructure
• Developing and providing support for mobile multiplayer Cloud services
• Assuming technical ownership of features and/or technologies

Skills & Experience
We’re looking for a social, hard-working person who is passionate and dedicated about his/her work.

The ideal candidate will be strongly skilled in the following:

• Expert in C# and .NET Core
• Experience with software architecture and/or infrastructure design
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (AWS or Azure considered)
• Experience with Kubernetes (ideally Google Kubernetes Engine)
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with databases, both RDBMS and NOSQL
• Troubleshooting and addressing load issues
• Accountability and Ownership
• Commitment

The following skills are desirable but not essential (if you have them, don’t forget to mention them):

• Experience with Go (the programming language)
• Experience with mobile (iOS and/or Android) development
• Experience with developing multiplayer games
• Knowledge of ReSharper, TDD, Agile/Lean
• Knowledge of TCP and UDP stacks
• Knowledge of CI / CD systems
• Knowledge of the Unity 3D game engine
