Senior Software Engineer (Platform)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join NCSOFT working on the back-end services supporting ArenaNet titles. In this role you will explore forward-looking online service solutions for future product needs. Are you interested in understanding how one of the most stable and available MMO platforms is operated and maintained? WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

You’ll need to be comfortable with C++ and knowledgeable with cloud services (along the lines of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or similar). You’ll also need to be willing to work on different project phases, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, or all of the above. We will be asking you to work with some autonomy, and also be involved in decision making around tools and procedures. It will be essential for you to communicate effectively and potentially work closely with others to find approaches and strategies that will enable our varying clients to be successful over the long term.
