Activision Blizzard’s Security Engineering Team is looking for a dedicated and motivated Splunk Engineer to join its ranks. You’ll be joining a technical team focused on the implementation of safeguarding Activision, Blizzard, and King’s games, systems, and people.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, creating, and supporting both on-prem and cloud infrastructure for tooling, orchestration, logging, and operations of Security systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate Linux proficiency, be self-motivated, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and will be looking for an excellent opportunity to merge their passions for gaming and security.
As a Splunk Engineer, you may find yourself…
- Designing, engineering, deploying, and maintaining clustered Splunk and Linux-based technologies
- Supporting SPL, dashboard, and knowledge object use-cases for Security, IT, anti-fraud, and development teams
- Demonstrating Configuration Management to build and maintain consistency across systems
- Building Terraform configs to manage infrastructure in public and private clouds
- Employing your systems knowledge to triage problems and tune resource usage
- Championing automation to eliminate the mundane or repetitive
- Drafting documentation, policy, and procedures for technology and services
- Leading individual projects from inception to completion
- Being part of an on-call rotation to support the Operations Teams during incidents
- Responding to incidents, discovering gaps, embracing transparency, and writing blameless postmortems to improve the reliability of our services
