Brass Lion Entertainment is seeking a Senior SecOps Engineer to join a talented and diverse team currently working on a new , unannounced A ction - RPG title .
As a Senior SecOps Engineer, you will build and maintain cloud infrastructure and deploy SaaS solutions to support our development teams, facilitate employee efficiency, and help create standards; processes; and automation to improve the security of the studio. In addition to your infrastructure and security commitments, you will assist in supporting a fully remote workforce and endeavor to automate away repetitive work in the team’s workload.

Brass Lion Entertainment has employees based in New York City, Montréal, and remote locations across Canada and the United States.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain distributed, scalable, and reliable infrastructure across multiple cloud providers
- Deploy, tune, and operate managed and self hosted security tooling
- Write and maintain tooling and automation to fill gaps in product/service capabilities
- Build out detection, alerting, and response capabilities using well defined security frameworks and benchmarks
- Collaborate with Build Engineering to build out and secure our CI/CD pipeline
- Lead efforts to continuously evaluate the security of the studio and remediate findings with your team
- Threat Modeling and Architectural Review
- Demonstrate through testing that hardening techniques sufficiently defend the studio
- Collaborate with your team to continuously develop our security program
- Automate disaster recovery procedures
- Define secure development best practices and support our Engineering staff with adopting these practices
- Participate in incident response engagements as necessary
- End user support for a fully remote workforce (Windows and Mac)
- Participate in on-call rotation
Qualifications
- Identify, deploy, tune, and manage security solutions that meet the demands of our studio
- 5+ years experience building, operating, and securing cloud infrastructure and services (AWS & Azure)
- 3+ years experience managing systems primarily via Configuration Management tools
- Write all your Infrastructure as Code
- Design and evaluate the security and reliability of complex systems
- Deep understanding of networking and network security in cloud environments
- Experience building and operating containerized workloads
- Deep understanding of Windows and Linux Systems that allows you to automate work across distributed systems and provide RCA’s when things don’t go as planned
- Have built/maintained/secured a CI/CD pipeline
- Comfortable working in multiple scripting languages; specifically Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- Comfortable leading projects that engage multiple disciplines with little oversight
- Located and authorized for work in the US or Canada
Bonus Points
- Experience programming in C or C++
- Experience with penetration testing or offensive security certifications
- Experience with application security assessment and remediation
