Who We Are:
2K has been a major console and PC game developer and publisher for several console generations and is known for bringing amazing and critically acclaimed IP to the market, like: NBA 2K, Borderlands, WWE 2K, Bioshock, Mafia, XCOM and Sid Meier’s Civilization.
What We Need:
We're looking for a Senior Sales Data Analyst to provide best in class analysis and data management practices. In addition to exceptional technical prowess, a candidate for this role must exhibit extraordinary attention to detail. This role will work closely with multiple teams across the organization. As a key subject matter expert on our sales data and metrics, Finance, Marketing, and Product will depend on your insight. This role will also pair closely with our Commercial and Analytics teams.
What You Will Do:
- Drive planning, analysis, coordination and consolidation of the quarterly sales targets and annual sales budgets with key business partners
- Drive coordination, consolidation and review of the weekly and monthly sales reforecasts
- Partner with Commercial, Product and Sales teams to identify and analyze opportunities and risks to P/L goals
- Create and maintain dashboards that tie back to business and product goals
- Develop a proficiency in and a business understanding of all of 2K’s sales data sources
- Conduct ad hoc analysis using various financial analysis techniques, concepts and models to provide insightful comments and recommendations
- Identify untapped market potential, and develop recommendations to capture it
- Continually drive enhancement of financial models used to budget/forecast during monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting cycles
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or similar quantitative discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, Sales Finance or Operations Finance
- Experience with large data sets and sophisticated models, proven proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint presentations and deck creation
- Exposure to business planning and intelligence tools such as Hyperion, Essbase, Tableau and OBI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial spirit to continue innovating and adding value; proactive communication style with the ability to build/foster relationships with business partners
- Strong work ethic; can-do attitude and a high sense of urgency; ability to learn and deliver results in tight timeline
