Headquartered in Korea, PUBG Corp. has operational offices globally across North America, Europe, Japan, China, and South East Asia.
Our Madison, WI office is seeking a Senior Gameplay Engineer to take on a leadership role in working with the PUBG gameplay engineering team. We are a small, multi-disciplinary team pioneering maps, modes, and experiences for PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS.
What you will do:
- Develop, optimize, improve and debug the rendering pipeline in a UE4 based engine
- Collaborate with other development units in a distributed studio environment
- Mentor junior team members to encourage professional growth
- Develop in both a native C++ environment and UE4 Blueprints
Qualifications:
- A passion for games and gaming
- Demonstrable experience in rendering and lighting in a AAA environment
- Experience writing shaders in HLSL, GLSL, or Cg
- Experience with Vulkan compute, OpenCL, D3D or other modern 3D graphics API
- Up to date knowledge of current graphics techniques including Physically-Based Rendering/Lighting
- Earnest ability to implement cutting edge graphics research whitepapers
- A passion for algorithms
- Strong 3d math skills
- Proficiency in C++
