Senior Quality Assurance Tester (6 month contract)

As a Senior Quality Assurance Tester, you will help improve services for players. You will be the champion of quality on a comprehensive approach to black and white box testing. You will collaborate to craft test plans and establish testing requirements and quality bars. You will perform exploratory testing and risk analysis and build close relationships with partners and achieve product health reports. Here are just some of the things the team have been working on so far: Redesigning, testing, and optimizing player content experiences in the League of Legends client, and partnering with 3rd parties (like Twitch) to reward players.

Responsibilities:

• Build and potentially establish team-level quality goals for products
• Handle communication related to test status with internal partners
• Lead outsourced QA teams, overseeing and auditing test results
• Run defect database
• Create test plans which establish the test structure and rhythm
• Improve on methods of test execution at the team-level
• Maintain reporting of test results for the team
• Inform product team on quality goals and when there are quality concerns
• Raise concerns to product or discipline leadership
• Approve product quality during release process

Required Qualifications:

• 4 or more years of QA testing experience in a software development environment
• Knowledge of Automated Testing and tools is a huge plus
• Experience in quality risk assessment and test project planning
• Experience managing test vendors or QA outsource efforts
• Experience as embedded QA
• Knowledge of SCRUM/Agile and ability to implement QA strategy into Agile environments

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience developing test strategies, test planning, and test design
• Knowledge of Product Development Pipelines and Workflows
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
• ISTQB Agile Tester or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST) Certification
• ISTQB Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst Certification
