Senior QA Specialist

As a Senior QA Specialist, we expect you to:

Be responsible for test case standards, writing test plans, execution, and assisting with writing and refining test cases for new features and systems, for our newly acquired FPS game - Krunker. Identifying and documenting defects and reproduction steps, and adeptly employing bug tracking software. Executing all levels of testing (regression tests, sanity checks, and feature-specific tests), providing regular QA test reports and documentation to generate feedback on game design and new features giving the QA Team the final approval for product quality.

Challenges & Responsibilities:

• Strong technical background in Software Quality Assurance;
• 4+ years of experience in the QA and testing fields of the game and/or entertainment products and services;
• 3+ years of experience in mobile application testing;
• Solid understanding of testing processes, standards, methodologies and tools;
• Understanding of mobile application development lifecycle;
• High level of attention to detail and sense of ownership;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision;
• Familiar with JIRA, Click Up, Trello, Scrum, Kanban and agile methodologies;

Your primary responsibilities will include :

• Test all new game releases/updates and schedule timely quality assurance and testing;
• Help in developing, maintaining, and improving the roadmap of tests for all releases and updates;
• Monitor game statistics, customer feedback, and competing products to constantly question assumptions and make adjustments to our games;
• Define new test approaches and come up with new ideas to improve testing processes and procedures;
• Ability to identify and articulate complex game development project issues;
• Fluent in English;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Close attention to detail;
• Technical insight on a wide range of physical devices from different manufacturers (Apple, Samsung, etc.) and operating systems (iOS, Android, etc.);

If you also have these experiences, it will be a bonus:

• ISTQB certification;
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or JavaScript;
• Experience in test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Selendroid, or other industry-standard tools);
• Some experience with TestRail;
