Job Description
As a Senior QA Engineer at Ubisoft Düsseldorf, you are responsible for the development and communication of all testing procedures to ensure high quality standards on our game security projects.
What you will do:
- Work with an agile team of dedicated software developers and create an efficient QA workflow
- Design and implement coherent automated tests for new software features
- Setup CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain and optimize the quality assurance process and KPIs
- Own responsibility for quality and stability of new features and releases
- Be the subject matter expert for QA and act as a source of quality assurance knowledge for your team and the project
Qualifications
What you bring:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software QA or a release engineering role
- Experience in designing, setting up and automation of complex integration test cases
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, Gitflow, Jenkins, Gitlab CI or similar
- Very good proficiency in Python
- Knowledge of C++ is a bonus but not a requirement
- Experience working in international teams is a plus
- Very good English skills, our studio language is English
- You possess a high degree of self-motivation and initiative, anticipate the needs of your project, and find the best solutions for technical challenges together with the team
