Our headquarters are in Los Altos, CA but we can accommodate a remote work environment for a candidate from the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington.
Currently, all Pixelberry staff work remotely with the option to work in-office, if desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be working with the internal and external QA teams to create, execute, and maintain test plans and automation scripts written in Javascript and Cypress, and perform ad-hoc, creative, and structured testing on web and mobile applications. Our ideal candidate should possess excellent writing and communication skills, and have knowledge in testing applications on Web, iOS, and Android platforms.
Given our small-studio format, you might find yourself wearing a variety of hats; candidates should be open and eager to learn new skills.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of QA test experience in a work environment
- MUST have extensive knowledge of python and cypress coding
- MUST have mobile experience (IOS or Android)
- Strong communication skills for effectively presenting and conveying issues found with the production team
- Has experience in leading automation efforts
- Familiarity with the mechanics of playing web and mobile games
- Have strong knowledge in using the Jira bug database system and Testrail test case management tool
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively
- Has experience mentoring others in automation scripting and best practices
- Proficient writing skills for writing up test plans and bug reports
- Take ownership of any mishaps from the QA team and have the mindset to correct and prevent reoccurrences of similar mistakes

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)
The salary range for the role is $105,000 - $145,000 per year.
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. Where an individual’s pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
In some cases, compensation may fall outside of this range depending on factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
