Job Description
You will work closely with Producers, Technical Director, Platform Services Leads, Tech Leads and Studio Engineers. Together you will drive to develop, implement and maintain a suite of sub systems as part of a high quality game in an English speaking environment. Using existing technology and new developments, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance and success of the game.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, integrate and maintain various automated test frameworks to validate versions release to deploy across the globe
- React to issues by adding or writing new test scenarios to detect similar issues
- Support the Tech Lead in building tools, test cases and tracking down issues (e.g. gathering of metrics and logs to document issues)
- Implement and maintain testing guidelines for deployment
- Participate in peer reviewing of code to maintain code quality, reliability & reusability for testing & deployment
- Liaise with Dev Team to help address or document third-party issues
- Manage and coordinate remote location (codev) initiative on automatic testing
- Lead web testing on Game2Web application
- Support technical testing for game backend
- Write test scenarios
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of QA software testing experience, with strong background in CI/CD and Devop.
- Computer Science degree preferred
- Passionate about gaming
- Experience with scripting (python), C++ C#, relational databases
- Experience working with various testing framework
- Familiar with unit testing test suites and C++ debugging process
- Proficiency at reusing, adopting and integrating existing code
- Strong communication tactics/ knowledge sharing
- Very good communication skills within and across teams with varied technical skills
- Familiar with bug tracking software and process (e.g. Jira)
