Possibility Space is seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst to work alongside Engineers, Designers, and Artists to help deliver our product to quality. You will be working directly embedded with a distributed, multi-disciplinary development team, while also working alongside other QA professionals to shore up gaps in test coverage.
Core Responsibilities & Objectives
- Create and maintain living test plan documents and risk assessments on the component level.
- Provide qualitative feedback on features and develop processes to gather feedback from test teams.
- Use data and metrics to provide assessments and trends on feature health/quality.
- Mentor junior QA professionals in multiple different testing types.
- Develop an end-to-end testing strategy for a set of features and/or component areas over multiple development phases, including Validation and Verification testing, Automation opportunities, Performance benchmarks, Exploratory testing, etc.
- Identify and escalate risks, while suggesting mitigation strategies to address those concerns.
Core Traits (Skills, Knowledge, Experience)
- At least three years of experience in Testing.
- At least one year of experience in embedded QA as a QA Analyst, Dev Tester, or equivalent.
- Experienced in writing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test suites.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with different types of testing.
- Able to work with different disciplines and personality types to drive change in products/process.
Bonus Traits
- Experience with Unity.
- Expertise in testing with different platforms.
- Experience with writing code or visual scripting.
- ISTQB certification.
Physical Requirements
- Close vision to monitors and screens, consistently working on computer equipment such as keyboards, game controllers, and monitors, long periods of sitting.
