Senior Python Programmer (WDS)

Job Overview

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Senior Python Developer to join our Wargaming Distribution team.

As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for writing and testing scalable code, developing back-end components, and integrating user-facing elements in collaboration with front-end developers, which makes your role crucial for the success of our Company.

What will you do?

• Coordinating with development teams (including front-end developers) and business analyst to determine application requirements

• Writing effective scalable and maintainable code

• Developing back-end components

• Integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic

• Integrating data storage solutions

• Reprogramming existing databases to improve functionality

• Keep suggesting improvements and ways to enhance the functioning of the software

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years of experience as a Python developer

• Excellent knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, PostgreSQL and database management, Aiohttp, Docker and MQ (Redis/RabbitMQ)

• Good knowledge of Fastapi, Celery, Kafka, Vue.js and Kubernetes will be a plus

• Comprehension of how to operate code versioning tools such as Git and task management as Jira

• A keen eye for the functioning of the software

• Good knowledge of Object-relation mapping

• Good understanding of server-side logic and server-side languages

• Knowledge of integrating various data sources in a single application

• Good teamwork spirit and capability to work independently when needed
