Senior Python Developer (Game Grids)

Wargaming is looking for a Python Developer to join our Game Grids team, which is in charge of providing the Game Operation and Development team with various tools to help solve a number of tasks related to:

• Monetization management (creating products for sale within the game, supporting subscriptions and auctions, and individual product lists for separate user segments)
• Maintaining interest in the game (holding events for different player segments, reward crediting, event management)
• Management of game entities (adding, discarding, and administering server configurations)
• Notifying players (regarding crediting to their accounts; sending notifications to certain segments of users or platforms)

We are growing, and we would like to welcome a specialist who is willing to learn, dive into new projects, and manage challenging tasks!

What will you do?

• Implement a new functionality in the Game Grids project
• Solve issues within the R&D framework
• Develop existing services for Game Grids
• Develop and design new microservices
• Write Unit tests and documentation

What are we looking for?

• 3 years of experience in commercial development in Python
• Experience of using AIOHTTP framework or other Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Sanic, etc.
• Experience with any SQL DBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience working with message queues (SQS, AMQP)
• Experience working with the Git version control system

What will help you stand out?

• Experience working in AWS (SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis)
• Experience working on projects with high load
• Knowledge of NOSQL databases
• Experience working with Docker
• Understanding and application of Rest API
• An understanding of the necessity of Unit tests
