Senior Project Manager, Platform

The Forte Platform is a suite of economic tools that enables game partners to easily interact and integrate with blockchain technologies through developer-friendly interfaces.

Forte is looking for a senior project manager who will support our engineering and product teams, and who will be responsible for the planning, design, iteration, execution, delivery and maintenance of releases. This role will oversee projects with multiple engineering groups, as well as collaborate and coordinate across multiple internal projects. The senior project manager will be the primary point of contact for production stakeholders across Forte. Excellent communication and a passion for delivering results are a must.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will...

• Own project initiatives end-to-end, including requirements gathering, scope definition, capacity planning, and roadmap delivery.
• Drive project execution in collaboration with project managers, product managers and multiple engineering teams.
• Facilitate change requests from stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed of impacts on schedule and budget.
• Produce dashboards, roadmaps, plans and documentation to support project efforts.
• Communicate status and manage stakeholder expectations, and act as a point for cross-team coordination.
• Run standup and project meetings, identifying action items and addressing blockers.
• Improve process and streamline workflows.

• Serve as point of contact for production stakeholders across Technology departments to intake production requests, provide updates, assess priority and track schedules
• Ensure clear reporting of project status from project teams including timelines, milestone tracking, budget status and issue identification to program management and stakeholders
• Conduct post-project evaluation, identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Qualifications

To be a good fit, you have…

• Minimum of 5+ years in a project management role.
• Proficient knowledge of Jira project management software, Confluence, and gantt chart software.
• Proven ability to manage multiple project priorities and deliverables.
• Passion and proven track record of building motivated and collaborative teams
• Demonstrable critical thinking and problem solving.
• Proven experience managing distributed teams and multiple vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing technology landscape

Bonus if you also have...

• Demonstrable knowledge of blockchain technology.
• A passion for video games or industry experience.
• Have a technical background.
