The Video Game industry is evolving rapidly: market, technology, competition. It is key for our studio to remain at the edge and thus requires Operational Excellence, with constant evolution, even transformation. To become effective quickly, Operational Excellence must be sustained by projects, gathering for a period of time all stakeholders related to the topic.
Reporting to our Studio Operations Director, you drive our Operational Excellence transformation program and manage a portfolio of related projects within the studio.
You bring our studio to the next level to execute our ambitious business plan successfully and efficiently
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design our Operational Excellence transformation program:
- Learn about studio strategic plans and key objectives.
- Assess actual studio efficiency, and key areas of improvement.
- Propose a methodology to build our transformation roadmap and design the roadmap accordingly.
- Define and put in place process and tools to support transformation plan.
- Create and keep up to date our project portfolio.
- Communicate about transformation roadmap on a regular basis.
Manage strategic projects directly:
- Define project objectives: understand the needs, define expectations and success criteria.
- Define project team, roles and responsibilities (RACI), and make sure these are well understood and followed. This includes gathering persons from different departments and creating transversal/virtual teams for the project duration.
- Define project planning: milestones, committees agenda, end
- Define project organization, relying on the most appropriate project management methodology.
- Assess risks on a regular basis, find mitigation plans if needed.
- Execute accordingly the plan and deliver successfully.
Support other projects and transversal initiatives:
- Define an easy usable framework for Operational Excellence project management.
- Identify project owner and project manager, train, and coach them in their role.
- Kick off project with them, within the predefined project framework.
- Update project portfolio, or make sure it is always up to date.
- Alert in case of deviation with the original plan, and help find mitigation plans
