Discord is looking for an experienced program manager to create and execute successful marketing programs for the community team at Discord.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute on strategic community marketing programs focused on driving awareness of Discord and engagement on the platform
- Own the program strategy and execution - from large phases through to detailed tasks, including understanding and managing dependencies.
- Ability to write policies around program health and maintenance in partnership with CX, Trust & Safety, and the Operations teams.
- Inform, coordinate with, and lead stakeholders efforts across multiple disciplines both within and outside of the marketing team
- Create comprehensive data-driven updates for executive team and company overall including setting goals and KPI’s.
- Set and track program performance goals through data measurement tools and dashboards
- Partner across marketing to represent program at various events, launches, and internal meetings as appropriate.
- Proactively anticipate problems and build risk mitigation plans
- Help build and create the long-term vision for the program management team
- Constantly drive optimization of process, tools, and teams for best program output
What you should have
- 5-7 years of marketing or product management experience
- 3-5 years of experience building successful Marketing, CX, Ops, or Business Operations programs
- Experience using Discord
- Proven ability to pull insights from data, craft recommendations and implement new experiments to drive improvements to KPI’s
- Passion for continuous learning, ability to think critically, superb organization and attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving skills with focus on efficient execution while balancing big-picture strategic thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex data stories in a clear, concise manner to channel owners and stakeholders.
