Senior Program Manager, Marketing (Temp)

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic program manager to lead key marketing initiatives. As a senior program manager, you will be responsible for leading key business initiatives/projects that help enable our business stakeholders to achieve their goals.

As an ideal candidate you must enjoy seeing a project from inception through completion, with a track record of delivering projects on time with the highest level of quality and stakeholder satisfaction. You should have experience managing projects related to marketing campaign management and/or marketing technology implementations. Candidates should have experience across multiple project management methodologies, share a passion for our games, and understand the nature of publishing work.

Responsibilities

• Lead large scale or highly complex projects, programs or strategic initiatives
• Manage marketing campaign launches
• Manage deliverable scope, timeline, and quality
• Drive teams to deliver against agreed upon tasks
• Provide ongoing status and progress reporting
• Perform issue and risk management
• Perform ongoing stakeholder communication and change management
• Manage vendor / partner relationships and communication

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management
• A minimum of 2 years leading project initiatives in a marketing, advertising, creative or communications department within an organization
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in relevant field
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent communication and presentation skills through multiple levels of management
• Self-motivated with strong initiative
• Certifications or experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, or PRINCE2
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Pluses

• Marketing campaign management experience
• Marketing tech and/or Ad tech software implementation experience
• Project management experience with global paid media or CRM teams
• Experience working at an entertainment and/or gaming company
• Project Management Professional (PMP certified)
• Graduate degree in relevant field
• Passion for Blizzard games
