Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mobile Games

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Mobile Games, you will develop and align value propositions for the Unity game development platform to customer segments and personas within the gaming industry, with a key focus on mobile games and the mid-market. Your work will be instrumental in accelerating Unity’s success in games.
You will distill and communicate your strategy into an executable Go-To-Market plan, resulting in the orchestration of dozens of downstream sales and marketing teams. Your success will depend on a comprehensive understanding of the Unity game development platform and the gaming industry. Your success will be measured by your impact on Unity’s business and the games industry as a whole.
You will report to the Senior Product Marketing Lead for the Games Industry and partner closely with Sales, Product Management, and other Marketing teams to execute world-class Go-To-Market.
Responsibilities
- Define GTM strategy for the Mobile and Mid-Market Games industry segments. You’ll create a go-to-market plan for the year, including launch/rollout plans for products and programs applicable to your segments
- You’ll work with technology-focused PMMs to ensure value prop and messaging of core technology, features, and services from across the business carry through in your narratives
- You’ll conduct the marketing orchestra to execute on world-class promotion: go-to-market activations and campaigns across channels in order to drive leads/revenue for the Sales teams and awareness of Unity as the premier real-time 3D development platform for game creation
- You’ll partner with other Product Marketers to develop and execute a strategic content plan and roadmap. You’ll define what content will be created to target various personas at the appropriate stage of the funnel, and work with the Demand Gen team to ensure those pieces are effectively leveraged to bring leads into the pipeline
- Develop a comprehensive sales enablement toolkit to empower both BD and the Corporate Sales team to sell effectively and hit revenue targets. You’ll define sales toolkit contents, create the materials, and ensure the teams are trained and armed to crush their pitches
- Collaborate with Corporate Sales on sales plays to drive meaningful impact on the Games Industry business. You will leverage internal data, market insights, and apply your understanding of product fit to create and execute sales plays that make a measurable business impact
- You’ll identify key challenges to create informed marketing strategies for major game industry events and Unity events
Requirements
- You know the A to Z of how to take a product to market backwards and forwards, ideally in a subscription or SaaS business
- You are well-versed in B2B marketing. You know how to put together a top-notch sales enablement toolkit and arm a sales force to conquer the world
- You know how to quickly immerse yourself in the product and customer mindset, gather insights and data to help inform decisions and validate or challenge assumptions, and provide a grounded, informed perspective from product marketing on product strategy.
- You must be a clear thinker and communicator. This must come across in every aspect of your work, from running meetings, to working docs, to presentations, to being able to break down complex problems to get at the crux of the matter. You’ll put those skills to work navigating ambiguity on a daily basis, ensuring your partners and stakeholders are aligned, onboard, and executing against a crystal clear vision and game plan
- You must be able to focus and prioritize ruthlessly in a very fast-paced, ambiguous environment, in order to keep your eye on the ball of the highest impact work and drive to completion
- You must be both an extremely high-producing, effective hands-on contributor, as well as a leader through influence, who can achieve success through others

Some travel will be required between Unity offices (San Francisco, Seattle, Montreal, Copenhagen), customer visits, and to some major industry events.
