Job Description:

As the Senior Product Manager, you are immersed in live games from both a development and player perspective. You have a strong sense of how to link data and metrics with elegant, game-centric design solutions, leading to an engaging and successful player experience.

Partnering with Production and Design, you are able to clearly articulate areas of optimization, growth and success in order to build a feature and content roadmap for our games that drives engagement and delivers successful monetization.

Lead studio thinking in regards to meta-design and UX, including player progression, engagement and commerce delivering player experiences that both engage players and yield commercial success.

Partnering with production, you work to prioritize feature development ensuring that the team is always focused on features that are meaningful and lead to successful product experiences.

You architect and analyze a robust set of data and KPI’s for our games, partnering with studio leadership to identify clear success criteria and regularly report on progress.

You are passionate about the player experience and maintain clear insights into player needs and frustrations, guiding the team towards a product strategy that successfully engages and grows the playing community.

This position requires broad, interdisciplinary communication skills and the ability to mediate across multiple perspectives, unifying the team to meet clear and measurable objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define clear KPI’s and live operation goals for the studios titles
  • Generate data sets for all aspects of a games operation, building valuable insights that drive our engagement and monetization success
  • Create regular reports for studio leadership that clearly articulate current performance and highlight areas for growth or improvement
  • Collaborate with Production and Design to establish product priorities, ensuring that effort and team workload is guided to meet product and business needs
  • Drive studio design efforts in regards to progression, economics and commerce
  • Work with the community and marketing team to ensure that player and community needs are well understood and communicated effectively
  • Work with product teams to identify successful engagement and monetization strategies, ensuring that game specific economies and implementations are well balanced and meet player needs and expectations

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience as a Product Manager in PC, mobile or console games
  • Knowledge and expertise of gaming KPI’s, analytical models and reporting frameworks
  • Proven fluency with large data sets and the ability to generate accessible and actionable insights
  • Expert understanding of in-game economies, tuning, balancing and optimizing for both engagement and monetization
  • Proven success with building long-term player engagement and growth on at least 2 titles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise at generating written reports for business and creative leaders
  • Experience and fluency with UX best practices and principles
  • Deep, up-to-date knowledge of games as a service market, with an emphasis on console practice

Compensation

The estimated base pay for this position: $150,000 - $180,000 USD . Actual amounts will vary depending on skills set and experience.
