Welcome to Solid State Studios! We’re a new in-house studio within Activision, dedicated to developing the best AAA mobile games in the world. Our first project is the AAA mobile hit Call of Duty: Mobile, which generated over $1 billion in consumer spending in 2021. Your Profile
As Senior Product Manager: Strategic Projects, you are responsible for driving a variety of strategic projects for Call of Duty: Mobile. These include growing our revenues through third party payment channels, improving the experience for getting new content onto players’ devices, and diagnosing and reacting to trends behind changes in the number of active players. You will work with analysts and researchers to get a deep understanding of the main factors driving your strategic projects, and use insights to craft and prioritize strategies to improve our performance. You will report to the Director of Product, who leads the Call of Duty: Mobile product team.
Main Mission
- Drive a range of strategic projects on Call of Duty: Mobile
- Lead third party payments strategy and execution
- Improve experience for getting new content onto players’ devices
- Diagnose high-level factors behind active user trends, and improve our frameworks for how we think about the main drivers behind user growth
- Use learnings to recommend and prioritize product improvements to improve active user trends
- Partner with our development team at Tencent to define our roadmap for new features and implement solutions
- Monitor impact of product changes and recommend iterative improvements
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years experience in product management or driving strategic projects
- Experience creating new or improved product features or executing on projects that drive business outcomes
- Able to clearly synthesize insights from analysis and research to diagnose root causes of problems
- Strong structured and critical thinking skills, able to craft a clear and well prioritized strategy and roadmap
- Strong analytical skills and ability to dig into data to uncover insights, experience with analytical tools like SQL and Tableau preferred
- Experience designing and running A/B tests
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others

Solid State Studios is an emerging team within Activision Publishing focusing on both publishing and live- operations for Call of Duty Mobile along with our new in-house studio dedicated to the development of AAA mobile titles. In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $116,800.00 - $216,000.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
