Product Management
What We Do
The Fortnite Social team is responsible for creating and championing new social experiences within Fortnite. We do this by building out new features as well as collaborating with other teams to build integration for social systems throughout the Epic ecosystem. We have to think about solving many problems for many different kinds of customers, which is a big product management challenge.

What You'll Do
Product management is both challenging and rewarding. You will work across multiple disciplines to pull together a clear sense of What we’re building, Why we’re doing that (rather than the many other things we could be doing) and Who cares about it.
As part of the Fortnite Social team you’ll be focused on enabling our players to have fun while creating meaningful friendships. This important pursuit requires empathy for our players as well as an analytical approach towards their actions to better understand their needs and requirements, and then reflect those learnings to the engineering teams so that we can experiment with well-considered solutions.
In This Role You Will
- Drive initiatives with minimal direction/supervision
- Establish, guide, and modify product deliverables
- Collaborate with development team to design and validate user-facing features
- Thinks strategically about problems encountered, develops working solutions, makes sound decisions with occasional guidance
What We're Looking For
- Worked on multiplayer experiences (in games is a bonus)
- Product management experience working with exceptional engineering talent
- A demonstrable track record of shipping products that delight users
- Drive consensus with clever, thoughtful, and kind people as a team
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of principles, practices and standards within area, skilled with using common tools and procedures
- Can handle complex tasks and thinks about project scope
- Comfortable with change and the need for adaptation
- SQL skills is a bonus
This position is open in multiple locations across North America including: Seattle, Austin, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver.
