About the role
At Strivr, our Product Management team is responsible for Immersive Learning products and services encompassing content authoring, content management and distribution, the immersive experience, and data & insights.
As an experienced product manager, you will own and drive the core components of the platform which our enterprise customers use to manage their Strivr VR deployments. You bring a strong product point of view with technical aptitude and to create functionality that will span across and power Strivr’s platform. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how virtual reality and Immersive Learning will scale to the next level by integrating in the enterprise space. You enjoy collaborating with engineering teams and varied stakeholders to develop a strategic vision, then execute on the roadmap to deliver tangible value to internal and external customers.
Your responsibilities:
- Define and drive a product vision for Strivr’s platform and service architecture
- Plan and prioritize product investments based on internal and external feedback
- Interface directly with customers and external partners, representing Strivr and establishing feedback loops for product, design, and engineering
- Manage end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to delivery and sustainment
- Own a product backlog of epics/user stories and manage an agile release process across multidisciplinary teams
- Define the success metrics of the products you work on, and own the outcomes.
- Partner closely with engineering on service architecture, including API design and application integrations
- Manage enterprise IT integration features (MDM, device & user authentication, application management) with internal and external stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a product or technical program management role for enterprise connected/IOT products
- Technical experience:
- Managing devices through mobile device management (MDM) applications such as Workspace One, Intune, or MobileIron
- Building and/or deploying enterprise authentication/identity management solutions (Active Directory, LDAP)
- Familiarity with device manufacturers, firmware updates and provisioning
- Experience driving an agile development process with teams of engineers
- Ability to manage and prioritize requirements from different groups of stakeholders
- Exceptional presentation and communications skills with an understanding of key stakeholder management
- Ability to build a business case around a product or service based on data and critical analysis
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-tech, high-profile start-up where decisions and progress must be made with imperfect information
Preferred Qualifications:
List of 2-5 preferred qualifications
- Experience delivering an application or mobile device to an entire Fortune 1000 company, integrating with existing systems and processes
- Experience in IT service design and product management, technical support or consulting for modernizing device management services in enterprises
- Extensive product knowledge and practical use of endpoint technologies with a focus on device management and endpoint security
- Designing and supporting RESTful APIs
- Experience evaluating or integrating with XRhub or other XR related partners
